A cottage built and furnished with love, with great attention to detail. The window and chairs are positioned to take in the sweeping view. A small dining table, two lounge chairs, a double bed (with a Nieuw Emma mattress), and on the loft, another bed (for two people) and a bench. The string of lights in the evening, the patio furniture, and of course the seating area at the edge of the meadow overlooking the setting sun. A small but lovely bathroom and a private kitchenette. Under the stairs, there’s a spot for bags and suitcases. Guests who stay here feel right at home, enjoying the beautiful decor, the tranquility, and nature. You can walk right out the door toward the dike and floodplains. The building you see next to and behind it in the photo is a barn. It is not inhabited. So this is a B&B (we do not currently serve breakfast) that offers privacy. If desired, a bicycle is available to borrow.
Nature and surroundings
Terwolde is a small village. Our B&B is located next to a meadow, and from here you can spend hours hiking, cycling, skating, and running. It’s within walking distance of the village supermarket, and the cities of Deventer and Apeldoorn are nearby. The IJssel River is within walking distance. Even cities like Zwolle, Arnhem, and Amsterdam are all easily accessible by car and, from Deventer, by train. Bussloo (and the sauna) is also nearby. Close to the dike, with beautiful bike routes along the dike, and nothing but pastures surrounding this cottage.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
