Our Nature house is located above Wergenstein at an elevation of about 1,800 meters above sea level in the Beverin Nature Park, surrounded by alpine meadows and offering a panoramic view of the mountains. The original barn has been carefully renovated (completed in July 2026); on the outside, the weather-weathered beams have been preserved, while inside, the living spaces have been newly renovated. In the center of the spacious living area is a kitchen island with a 4-burner gas stove and a refrigerator (including a freezer compartment), a large table that seats up to 10 people, a cozy sofa area, and a soapstone stove. Two bedrooms can accommodate up to 6 guests (one with a double bed and one with 4 bunk beds). The modern bathroom, lined with natural stone, features a spacious shower, a toilet, and a sink. Under the roof is an open loft with two armchairs—perfect for reading, taking a siesta, or enjoying the view of the living area—and the option to add a mattress for 4 more people.
Nature and surroundings
Our Nature house is fully furnished—from cookware to bedding and towels to firewood. Sports equipment (bicycles, skis, etc.) and strollers can be stored on the lower floor. The patio in front of the cabin features a table with chairs, a parasol, and a grill. Our mountain hut is equipped with solar panels, providing electric lighting throughout and allowing you to charge electronic devices (230W outlets). In summer, you can drive right up to the cabin via the paved, toll-road alpine road. In winter, Dumagns can be reached on foot from Wergenstein via a groomed winter hiking trail in about 50 minutes. Luggage transport can be arranged by snowmobile upon request. Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
