I’m so glad you’re considering booking this nature house. My name is Susanne Singer. In addition to my work at the playroom, I’m now delighted and excited to start renting out this beautiful nature house. The nature house is located in Koudhoorn, between Putten and Garderen in the Veluwe. It’s a recently built farmhouse-style nature house. The nature house can accommodate up to six guests. (2 separate bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room) The temperature in the cottage is regulated by climate control, ensuring a comfortable environment at all times. Bed linens and towels are provided, and your dog is welcome at no extra charge. From the property, you can walk straight into the woods, toward the heath. Outside, you’ll find a patio at the front, back, and side of the house, as well as a garden that blends into the woods. Children can play freely without you having to worry about traffic or boundaries. In the evening, you can sit outside with nothing but the sounds of nature.
Nature and surroundings
Putten is located in the northwestern Veluwe, an area that is less touristy than the Posbank or Hoge Veluwe, but just as beautiful. The Speulder and Sprielder Woods, known as the “Speulderbos” with its winding old beech trees, are within biking distance. The Ermelo-Putten heath offers kilometers of open countryside with views you wouldn’t expect to find in the Netherlands. The village of Putten itself has a charming center with shops, restaurants, and several supermarkets. From Klein Kolthoorn, you literally walk right into the woods. No car needed, no need to look for a parking spot. You step off the patio onto the sandy path and choose: left toward the Sprielderbos, right toward the heath, or straight ahead onto the forest trail where you can walk for an hour without running into anyone. For cyclists, there are countless routes through the Veluwe, ranging from quiet forest roads to the network of cycling junctions. In Putten and Garderen, you’ll find rental companies where, in addition to bicycles, you can also rent e-choppers, balance bikes, and e-bikes.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
