Eckhütt Eins is a renovated farmhouse in a secluded location in a forest clearing in the Bavarian Forest. The house has 180 m² of living space spread over two levels and is always rented out as a whole, accommodating up to eight guests. There are three bedrooms, including one family room, plus a recreation room with a large pull-out sofa, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen-dining area, and a media room with books and movies. The living room features a tiled stove. Outside, there is a garden and a covered patio. Bedding, towels, and Wi-Fi are included; dogs are welcome by arrangement. Rentals are on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, from March through October. I’m Nicole; I manage the house myself and respond to every inquiry personally. A little surprise will be waiting for you in the refrigerator upon arrival.
Nature and surroundings
The farm is situated in the middle of a natural meadow rich in biodiversity, surrounded by forest. The property includes two natural ponds, and hiking trails begin right at the house. At night, the sky is dark, far from the lights of the cities. The Eckhütt Eins website describes many plant and animal species found around the farm, as well as trees, mushrooms, and the starry sky above the house. Bernried and the neighboring town of Schwarzach are state-recognized resort towns. A supermarket and a doctor’s office are about 12 minutes away, a hospital about 20 minutes, and the A3 highway about 15 minutes. There is a forest swimming area in Bernried. Upon request, a grocery delivery service will stock the refrigerator before your arrival.
