A cozy nature house for little adventures and plenty of relaxation. Our 90 m² nature house is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of an Eifel village—with sweeping views across the valley, a fenced-in natural garden, and plenty of space to play, run around, and relax. Inside, you’ll find thoughtful family-friendly amenities, and outside, a trampoline, play tower, fire pit, and patio. Once the kids are asleep, the grown-ups can head to the sauna or the home theater. Dogs are welcome. The Elsternest is ideal for two adults with one or two children and a baby. Your family dog is also very welcome. The Naturhäus is specially equipped for families and features a fully furnished children’s room with a bunk bed, a play sofa, a drawing table, and plenty of books, games, and toys, as well as a crib, a changing table, and a safety rail for the family bed. Plus a baby bathtub, children’s shower, family toilet seat, high chair at the dining table, learning tower... For a family vacation where parents get to relax, too.
Nature and surroundings
On the outskirts of Lirstal, where the last houses end and beyond them lie only fields, forests, and the vast landscape of the Vulkaneifel, lies our Elsternest. A small, lovingly furnished home designed especially for families who want to spend time together, explore the outdoors, and simply unwind every now and then. You don’t even have to get up from the patio to watch wildlife—they’ll come to you. First thing in the morning, you can watch a squirrel swinging from tree to tree right from your bed. The chirping of birds will accompany you throughout the day, and we’ve set up a few bird feeders and left a pair of binoculars out so you can observe the diverse array of birds at your leisure. You’re sure to encounter deer, hares, and foxes on your walks, and if you leave the gate open, a deer might even pay you a visit in the garden early in the morning or at dusk.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
