We are Dirk and Willem, two brothers with a deep love for nature and tranquility. Our nature house is a luxurious forest retreat with its own spa, located on the edge of the forest in one of the most beautiful parts of the Veluwe. The house has four bedrooms that sleep eight: one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, two single beds (that slide together), and a bunk bed room with two 80x200 cm beds, ideal for children. Two cribs and two high chairs are provided. There are two bathrooms: a spacious one with a double sink, shower, and bathtub overlooking the woods, and a smaller one with a shower. The spacious living room features a large seating area with a fireplace, a 55-inch TV, and a piano. The open kitchen is fully equipped for a dinner with the whole group. Outside, you can relax on the terraces, by the BBQ, or at the fire pit in the wild garden. Our private spa is the heart of the home: a spacious sauna with water pourings, a jacuzzi that’s always at the perfect temperature, an outdoor shower, and—for enthusiasts—an ice-cold plunge pool.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located on the edge of the forest, in one of the most beautiful parts of the Veluwe, with its own wild garden full of character. Vast forests, heathlands, and sand drifts are literally just around the corner. Otterlo is within walking distance and serves as the gateway to De Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kröller-Müller Museum, featuring world-renowned art set amidst nature. From the cottage, you can step right into the woods for a walk or bike ride, or wander across the distinctive sand drifts of this part of the Veluwe. In the village, you’ll find cozy outdoor cafes, restaurants, and shops for your daily groceries. Perfect for those who love peace and quiet, open spaces, and the beauty of nature, but also want the conveniences of a village within easy reach.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
