Nestled in the greenery of Winterswijk, you’ll find our nature house: a charming forest cabin for up to four guests, with a 1,200 m² wooded garden and a private sauna. From the house, you can look out over the trees and step right into nature. Inside, we’ve thought of everything. The beds are made, and coffee and tea are waiting for you. Herbs, olive oil, dishwasher tablets, shampoo, and shower gel are also provided. That way, your vacation begins the moment you walk in. For children, too, the Boshuis is a little adventure. In the special children’s bedroom, you’ll find a bunk bed, toys, books, and a toy chest. When it’s bedtime, the starry sky lights up. We’re Jordy, Marja, and Cas. We’ve lovingly renovated and furnished the Boshuis. There are already so many beautiful items, which is why many of the pieces of furniture and accessories in the Boshuis have been given a second life. Each and every one is something we love ourselves, and together they create the warm, unique atmosphere of our Boshuis.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is nestled in the lush greenery of the Achterhoek, on the outskirts of Winterswijk. From the house, you can walk or bike right into nature. The Korenburgerveen forest and nature reserve are nearby, and the surrounding area offers plenty of hiking, biking, and mountain biking trails. There’s also plenty to do for families. On warm days, you can swim and play at the Hilgelo. A visit to Bommelwereld is a fun adventure for kids, and further into the Achterhoek, there are plenty of places to play, climb, swim, and explore. In the large wooded garden, squirrels scurry among the trees and woodpeckers make their presence known. In the evening, you can enjoy the peace and quiet here, along with a beautiful starry sky. Winterswijk is nearby and has a charming town center with shops, restaurants, and outdoor seating. Whether you want to explore nature, go out with the kids, or simply relax: at Ona Boshuis, you set your own pace.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund

- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
