This forest home is a brand-new, architect-designed luxury villa located on the edge of the Speulderbos, in the heart of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Not only do you have the beautiful Speulderbos right in your backyard, but from the front of the house you also enjoy a magnificent, unobstructed view of the meadows and forests. The forest house is a fully energy-neutral, modern, and comfortable home with large windows, surrounded by a beautiful, spacious garden covering an area of over 1,200 m². You can always find a nice spot in the sun or in the shade. There are plenty of seating areas, lounge chairs, and even a large hammock for relaxing. The house features a living room with views of the meadow, the woods, and the backyard, as well as a beautiful kitchen and two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Furthermore, the house is gas-free, equipped with solar panels and a heat pump, and features an electric vehicle charging station. Pets allowed only upon request (€50 surcharge), max. 1 pet per stay.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity of the house, you’ll be surrounded by nature. In just 2 minutes, you’ll be in the Speulderbos. You can spend hours wandering through the heathland and forest trails of the Veluwe; there are many bike routes that take you past the most beautiful spots. And how about a stroll through the Ermelosche heath? But don’t forget to visit the various museums in the area (including the Kröller-Müller Museum, Paleis ’t Loo, the Marius van Dokkum Museum in Harderwijk, or the sand sculptures in Garderen), and explore the towns of Putten, Ermelo, Deventer, or Harderwijk. The area is teeming with restaurants, from the “luxury” snack bar ’t Speuldje to the fantastic restaurant Cèpes in Otterlo. And for ice cream, stop by the IJstijd ice cream parlor in Garderen. There’s something for everyone! Out and about with the kids? How about Apenheul, the Dolfinarium, Koningin Julianatoren, or the climbing forest in Garderen? But there’s plenty of fun right at the house, too: a slide, two swings, and a sandbox are waiting for you in the garden!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
