This nature house is a place where you can lose track of time, wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy the unobstructed view, and end the day with a good book or a cool drink under the century-old walnut tree. Located in the countryside near Gendt, our sustainably renovated 32 m² vacation home is comfortable, charming, and fully equipped. Everything in this Tiny house is on one level, and it accommodates up to two people. The cottage features a separate, lockable bedroom with an en-suite shower and a separate toilet. Surrounding the house is a spacious yard with a fruit orchard and plenty of room to unwind. A farm shop is within walking distance. And on warm days, it’s wonderful to relax in the saltwater pool, which is available for free use from June through September—or even earlier if spring shows its sunniest side. This cottage: a lovely place to do nothing at all and enjoy yourself to the fullest.
Nature and surroundings
A peaceful retreat near Arnhem and Nijmegen, offering all the comforts for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. From the vacation home, you can easily walk or bike right into the surrounding area. The house is located along the cycling and hiking trail network, so you can easily plan your own route. There are several “klompenpaden” (clog trails) in the area, including the Pannerdensche Waardpad and the Rijnstrangenpad. Hike through floodplains, along dikes, and past old river branches, and enjoy the expansive river landscape. Or bike the “Rondje Pontje” route from Gendt to Doornenburg, Pannerden, and Millingen. There’s also plenty to discover for lovers of culture and history. Visit Fort Pannerden, Doornenburg Castle, or the Niemandsland War Museum.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
