Nature and surroundings
The landscape offers a lovely mix of forests, meadows, country roads, and farmland. You’re clearly away from the hustle and bustle of the city here. As a result, the area is particularly well-suited for hiking, biking, and quietly enjoying the outdoors. A special nature reserve in the area is the Appel Estate, with its forests and rural character. The nearby Arkemheen is also unique. This is a centuries-old, very open polder landscape along the Randmeren lakes and a Natura 2000 site. The area is best known for its large numbers of meadow, water, and migratory birds, including black-tailed godwits, lapwings, redshanks, geese, and, in winter, Bewick’s swans.

A very cozy and inviting chalet. Beautifully decorated with charming accents. A decorative fireplace, a bar, and plenty of kitchenware. You’ll feel like a guest in a private home.
Een heel knus en gezellig chalet. Mooi ingericht met leuke accessoires. Sfeerhaard, bar en genoeg keukengerei. Je voelt je te gast in een privé huis.
It was wonderfully peaceful, and the surroundings were beautiful. There were gorgeous borders of flowers around the meadows.
Was heerlijk rustig en de omgeving mooi. Prachtige randen van bloemen om de weilanden heen.
