Welcome to our nature house, a charming vacation home for 4 people on the outskirts of the quaint village of De Waal. Here you’ll experience the real Texel: space, tranquility, nature, and the freedom to do absolutely nothing. A little getaway… a little time to do nothing… just enjoy… your cozy home away from home on Texel. After a day at the beach, biking, hiking, or socializing, you’ll come home to your peaceful spot in De Waal. It’s cozy and comfortable, with a nice dining area and an open kitchen, so everything flows seamlessly together. A place where you can eat together or simply relax. This creates plenty of space to enjoy the island together, read a good book, or play a fun game (many games provided). The home is heated by central heating, and for colder days, there’s a cozy fireplace. And this quickly makes the space comfortable and gives you that cozy vacation feeling.
Nature and surroundings
From our nature house, you can easily explore the island’s most beautiful spots, and after a day full of adventures, you’ll come home to your own cozy place—a wonderful spot in the heart of Texel, surrounded by peace and nature. We’ve also thought of every practical detail. Our nature house has space to park three cars on the property. Do you drive an electric car? There’s a charging station for electric cars in the village of De Waal. Explore Texel from De Waal. Thanks to its central location, you can quickly reach the various beaches, nature reserves such as WaalenBurg, and the other villages on Texel from De Waal. At the same time, at our cottage you can enjoy the tranquility of a small village and the characteristic views and atmosphere around the church. Whether you’re coming for long bike rides, beach walks, nature, or simply a few days of doing absolutely nothing, the cottage is a wonderful base for a relaxing stay on Texel—close to everything that makes Texel so beautiful.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 20 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
