You can reach us via a quiet, dead-end road. Our nature house is a fully renovated three-story farmhouse dating from 1700. In early 2026, the kitchen was remodeled, and additional electric heating was installed on the ground floor. Downstairs are the kitchen and bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet; both rooms can be heated electrically. The first floor features a living room with a wood stove, a seating area, and a dining area. The second floor is a cozy sleeping loft. Huis Tosca is a cozy, charming cottage, furnished in a modern style while respecting the original architectural style. Additional Amenities Kitchen: Electric stove and oven, range hood, microwave, refrigerator, and separate freezer, plus all the small kitchen gadgets you might need. Living room: A TV with a DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs, plus a radio/CD/USB/iPod player (with a large collection of CDs available). We provide free Wi-Fi (5G) upon request. Beds and sofa bed: pillows and single-size comforters
Nature and surroundings
The area immediately surrounding our nature house is wooded and terraced. On the lowest level, there is a wooden deck with a table, chairs, and a parasol. Then there is an intermediate level, where a small “chapel” is built into a wall, and above that, the forest begins. Behind the house is another small, shaded terrace where it’s also lovely to sit. The terraces surrounding the cottage—about 1,000 square meters—are partially enclosed by a “green” fence for safety and privacy. Lounge chairs and a gas grill round out the outdoor experience. We’re perched at the top of a hillside with a stunning view of the somewhat sleepy town of Plombières, which in its heyday was the favorite spa town of Napoleon III and his entourage. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and biking, exploring the small waterfalls nearby, and enjoying a swim in the water-rich surroundings. You can easily go out for dinner, charge your electric car, and run errands on foot from our nature house—just be sure to bring good shoes!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
