Our nature house "Tosca" is a fully renovated three-story farmhouse dating from 1700. In the spring of 2026, Tosca underwent a renovation of the kitchen and the addition of an electric heater on the ground floor. Downstairs are the kitchen and the bathroom, which features a shower stall, sink, and toilet; both rooms can be heated electrically. The first floor is designated as the living room, featuring a wood stove, a seating area, and a dining area. The second floor is a sleeping loft. Tosca is a cozy, charming cottage, modernly furnished while respecting the old architectural style. The sleeping loft has two single beds that have been pushed together to form a double bed, but can also be arranged as two single beds upon request. The living room has a double sofa bed. The necessary pillows and single-size comforters are provided.
Nature and surroundings
The grounds immediately surrounding Tosca House are terraced. On the lowest level is a wooden deck with a table, chairs, and a parasol. Next is an intermediate level, where a small “chapel” is built into a wall, and above that, the forest begins. Behind the house is another small, shaded terrace where it’s also lovely to sit. The terraces surrounding Tosca House—about 1,000 square meters—are partially enclosed by a “green” fence for safety and privacy. Lounge chairs and a gas grill complete the outdoor experience. Upon request, we provide free Wi-Fi in and around House Tosca. In front of Tosca Cottage is the private parking lot, at the end of the dead-end road that connects our property to the outside world. Next to Tosca Cottage is our home, and 50 meters further on is a second cottage. There are plenty of hiking trails, one of which even runs right past our property. The town of Plombières-les-Bains, a 10-minute walk away, has seen better days, but it still has small shops, restaurants, and a supermarket.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
