Welcome to Le Moulin, one of the charming cottages on the Moulin du Bouc property, a former watermill in the heart of the Périgord. The cottages have retained their authentic charm while being fully renovated to ensure a comfortable stay. Looking for the perfect family destination? Here, children can play endlessly in the pool, build dams in the river, or explore the surrounding forests. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy the peace and quiet, the natural surroundings, or a good book. In the evening, it’s time for some fun: a game of pétanque, an aperitif on the terrace, a pizza night, or dinner at one of the cozy restaurants nearby. For larger groups, this can be combined with Maison d’Amis (6 people). See you soon!
Nature and surroundings
The Moulin du Bouc property is located in a valley, in the middle of a large forest. You won’t run into many people here, aside from other vacationers and the occasional hiker or fisherman. Life moves at a slower pace here. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of birds; during the day, you can hike for hours without running into anyone; and in the evening, you can see the stars above the forest. We try to preserve the property as a piece of wild nature as much as possible. We deliberately let parts of the grounds run wild so that flowers, insects, and other animals can thrive. From the cottages, you can walk straight into the forest. Moulin du Bouc isn’t your typical vacation park. Our family regularly stays in one of the three cottages ourselves and is always happy to share tips for fun outings and hidden gems in the area. Above all, we hope to create a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €350.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 21 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
