This nature house, a "maison de campagne," is situated in an idyllic, peaceful spot, nestled in the lush countryside of Burgundy. The cottage is an authentic old French house with character and charm. It’s not a sleek, modern vacation home, but a house with thick walls, original features, and the charm of the French countryside. The thick walls ensure that the house stays pleasantly cool in the summer, even when temperatures outside rise significantly. In the colder months, it’s cozy and warm. The living room features a wood stove that provides soothing warmth on cooler evenings. A crackling fire, a good glass of wine, and all the time in the world... The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering plenty of space for groups of 2 to 6 people. The kitchen is simple and rustic, yet practically designed and equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The garden is shaded and securely fenced. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax.
Nature and surroundings
Here you won’t find crowds or traffic, but rather space, silence, and nature. A small road runs past the house, with only three cars and a tractor passing by each day. From the fenced-in garden, you can look out over rolling meadows and wooded hills. The bakery is 4 km away. And villages with good supermarkets are within a radius of 7 to 15 km. The surroundings invite you to slow down. During the day, you can hear the birds, see butterflies and other animals, and go for endless walks or bike rides along quiet country roads. In the evening, it becomes almost magically quiet, and you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky. This is a place for anyone who wants to get away from everyday life for a while. For long walks, lazy mornings, reading a book in the garden, enjoying nature, taking the dog and/or camera out for a stroll, and above all: not having to do a thing. A place where you don’t just see the peace and quiet—you truly feel it.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
