Gite Lumbini Unwind in the green heart of the Tarn. Get away from the hustle and bustle, wake up to the sounds of nature, and enjoy a place where life naturally moves at a slower pace. Gite Lumbini is nestled in the heart of the Tarn’s lush, rolling countryside, on our small property, La Vialette. Here you’ll find no mass tourism, just peace, space, and nature. Lumbini is a charming cottage of about 55 m². It’s designed to accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Inside, it’s surprisingly spacious and cozy, featuring wood, natural tones, and Mediterranean touches. At the same time, the gîte is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, so you’ll have everything you need during your vacation. Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable bed measuring 1.60 x 2.00, a cozy sitting and dining area, a television, and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a bathroom with a spacious shower, a private washing machine, and air conditioning. The sleeping loft has two single beds. A unique cottage where tranquility, nature, and comfort come together.
Nature and surroundings
La Vialette is located in Mont-roc in the Tarn, also known as the “Gates of the Lacaune.” Across from Gite Lumbini lies Lac de Razisse, with the striking ruin of Château Grandval rising above the water. It’s a place steeped in history. Around the lake, you’ll find spots for recreation, hiking, biking, and swimming. Those looking for a bit more adventure can also go rock climbing, mountain biking, and horseback riding in the area. We also offer SUP boards for rent exclusively to our guests. The grounds themselves feature beautiful old trees, as well as fruit trees and a variety of flowers. Curl up in the hammock with a good book and experience ultimate tranquility. Starting in September 2026, there will be a spacious 10 x 4.5 m swimming pool with a terrace and lounge chairs. There is also a playground and a trampoline for the children. The nearest village with all amenities is Teillet, located 5 km from La Vialette. The beautiful episcopal city of Albi is a 21-km drive away.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €250.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.

- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
