Unwind completely in this well-appointed vacation cottage located in a small-scale vacation park near Orvieto. From the main road, it’s a 10-minute drive down a dirt road to the cottage, where you might even be greeted by a deer. From the very first moment, I felt that this was our cottage. Curling up with a book by the fireplace, doing a puzzle, or playing a game. Or simply enjoying a glass of wine on the patio. Bas and I have furnished this cottage with great care. Our semi-detached cottage is on one level and located on the ground floor. It has one bedroom with an extra-long bed (160x220 cm) and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, and washing machine. A spacious living room with a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, a large dining table where you can enjoy doing a puzzle or have a leisurely meal, a fireplace, an armchair, a 2.5-seater sofa, and a fireplace. French doors lead out to the covered patio, which is furnished with a table and two chairs. On the side, you can also enjoy the sun or, if you prefer, the shade.
Nature and surroundings
Poggi is located near Ficulle (Umbria), on the border with Tuscany and Lazio. It is an Etruscan region. Culture, nature, and, of course, the excellent cuisine that is also very popular among Italians. You can visit several wineries in the immediate vicinity. In Ficulle, you’ll find a good restaurant, a small supermarket, and a few bars. It’s a medieval village where many events are organized. Explore Orvieto, discover the volcanic area in San Venanzo, or walk down the dirt road toward the riverbed. In Parrano, you’ll find the Tane del Diavolo, consisting of caves and a thermal bath. You can also visit Lake Trasimeno or Lake Bolsena. There are also many interesting towns in the area, such as Orvieto, Allerona, Città del Pieve, Todi, and Civita di Bagnoregio. To the north, there are also cities like Arezzo, Montepulciano, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, and Spoleto. The cottage is located between Rome and Florence. You can travel to Rome by train in just over an hour and a half without changing trains. A great day trip!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
