Nature house in Tunby

This charming Skånelänga is located between the Österlen coast and the rolling countryside of Smedstorp, a 20-minute drive from the sea and a 10- and 20-minute bike ride from two lakes. Gyllebosjö features a swimming area and access to the Sträntemölla Nature Reserve. The house combines historic charm with modern comfort. The interior is rustic and cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a Smeg oven, electric stovetop, dishwasher, and refrigerator. On the ground floor, you’ll find the bathroom with a washing machine and drying rack, the living room, the dining room, and a bedroom. Upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds and a view of the fields. Please note: headroom is limited upstairs and downstairs near the beams (1.85/2 m). The house has a well with a filtration system for clean drinking water, a heat pump for heating and cooling, and a TV hidden in a cabinet. No Wi-Fi, but there is a 5G booster. Our house is in a quiet but not isolated location, on a large lot along a main road in Österlen, surrounded by nature. There are two patios with seating, large trees that provide shade, and a large lawn with a sandbox. There’s parking for two cars on the driveway. The nearest supermarket is in Sankt Olof, a 12-minute drive or 18-minute bike ride away, and it has a café-restaurant called “Byvägen 35” that serves Swedish treats (Fika) and a lovely garden. Enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, galleries, flea markets, or simply doing nothing! A family-friendly way to explore the area is the trolley bike tour with a picnic along a historic railroad line. There’s also an outdoor swimming pool just an 18-minute bike ride away. Österlen is known for its apple orchards and vineyards, sandy beaches, fishing villages, and a vibrant art and culinary scene. You can buy local seasonal produce, such as strawberries and apple juice, along the road. The house is a 1-hour drive from Malmö, or a 1.5-hour train ride from Malmö to Smedstorp plus a 22-minute bike ride.
