Our nature house, Down Under, offers a unique view of the Morvan hills. Peace and space through plenty of time spent outdoors is our motto. The cabin is small but has everything you need. Double bed with two separate mattresses. Views of the hills and, at night, the stars. Coffee (using a Senseo machine) and tea are provided. Small kitchen; cooking indoors or outdoors is possible. Outdoor shower and dry toilet. The toilet is cleaned daily by the hostess. A fan and two doors that you can open if it gets warm. Plenty of seating, including in the shade. View of our horses — bringing up to 2 of your own horses is possible by arrangement. Private, fenced-in garden with parking. The village of Lormes is a 5-minute drive away. From the cottage, we regularly spot: deer, foxes, and occasionally a herd of wild boars. Lots of bird calls and rare birds such as the hoopoe. Sleep under the stars but with a roof over your head. The perfect place to enjoy yourself!
Nature and surroundings
The surrounding area consists of hills and wooded areas. Scenic views and charming French villages nearby. Lormes is a 5-minute drive away and has a good supermarket, a bakery, a café, and several restaurants. There’s a small local market on Thursdays. Plenty of free musical events in the summer. And several art galleries and an art trail in August. Kilometers of hiking trails that are also great for mountain biking or horseback riding. A 20-minute drive away are beautiful lakes where you can swim—even with your dog. Unique churches and castles within a 20-kilometer radius.
