Our guesthouse is located in the countryside near Zandhuizen, on the border between the municipalities of Weststellingwerf and Ooststellingwerf. You’ll be staying in the spacious and cozy front part of the farmhouse. We live in the back part of the house. Because the house has a large yard, you’ll enjoy plenty of privacy and feel as though you’re in a wonderfully peaceful setting. You can enjoy watching beautiful birds and listening to their songs, as well as watching squirrels feasting on hazelnuts and walnuts. Our guesthouse features a cozy living room with a view of the beautiful garden and pond. The spacious garden is home to large trees, including fruit trees, that provide plenty of shade on warm days. There’s a large hammock available, as well as a BBQ that you’re welcome to use. On the first floor, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms. Downstairs near the kitchen, you’ll find the bathroom with a spacious shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner induction cooktop, a refrigerator, and a microwave. We have 2 stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) available for a fee.

Zandhuizen is a village on an esdorp in the municipality of Weststellingwerf; with 350 residents, it can be called a small village. It is located northeast of the village of Noordwolde.
