This fun, simple place to sleep and stay adds a special touch to our campground/recreation area. The base is shaped like a boat that was once used as a parade float in our village. Thanks to Herman’s creative genius, you can sleep in the cabin tent and enjoy nature, the sunset, and the peace and quiet on the deck. If the space on the deck is too small, you can also relax next to the boat and still keep your feet dry. The cabin tent is equipped with two mattresses, an electric hot plate, a kettle, and dishes and cutlery. You can rent a fire pit with wood, and bike rentals are also available.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located at Genietplek Den 4akker, situated in the rural and wooded surroundings of Vierakker, between the Hanseatic city of Zutphen and Vorden, the village of eight castles. The beautiful nature reserve featuring Hackfort Castle is within walking distance (via a shortcut along the Fierepad hiking trail) and lies 5 km away. We could tell you more, but come and discover what this place and its surroundings have to offer. On the grounds of De Genietplek, you’ll find the Den 4akker Farm Store, offering healthy and enjoyable moments throughout the day—from homegrown strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries to delicious products from fellow producers.
