First and foremost, we thought it was a fantastic location—incredibly quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the cornfields. The cottage was fully equipped and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need, and it was decorated in a truly stylish and well-thought-out way. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

We vonden het allereerst een fantastische locatie, ontzettend stil en rustig met een mooi uitzicht over de korenvelden. Het huisje was zeer compleet en comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien en echt heel stijlvol en goed doordacht ingericht. De eigenaren waren heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

The house is brand new. We were the fourth guests. It’s furnished with great attention to detail and is very comfortable. The beds are great. The kitchen is fully equipped and practical, with an induction cooktop, a nice oven, and a freezer. You also have access to many varieties of tea and coffee. It’s a great place to relax, and the TV has plenty of channels and even Netflix.
We had planned to do a lot, but you really should also set aside enough time to simply enjoy the house and its amenities. There are canoes you can use to paddle out onto the lake.
We had a wonderful time, and it was really nice that the owners were there to make us feel welcome.

Het huis is helemaal nieuw. We waren de 4e gasten. Het is ingericht met veel oog voor detail en heel comfortabel. De bedden zijn prima. De keuken is heel compleet en praktisch met een inductiekookplaat, een mooie oven en een vriezer. Ook heb je de beschikking over vele soorten thee en koffie. Je kunt prima zitten en de televisie heeft veel zenders en zelfs Netflix.
We hadden gepland om veel te doen, maar eigenlijk moet je ook voldoende tijd reserveren om gewoon lekker van het huis en de voorzieningen te genieten. Er zijn kano's waarmee je heerlijk naar het meer kan peddelen.
We hebben een prima tijd gehad waarbij het heel fijn was dat de eigenaren gezellig aanwezig waren.

The house is located in a very peaceful area. It’s wonderfully quiet—often, the only sound you hear is that of geese flying overhead. There’s plenty of space. Inside, the house is definitely big enough for two people, and you have a beautiful garden at your disposal with a lovely spot by the water.
The natural surroundings are beautiful; you can easily bike to the lake and other scenic areas.

Het huis ligt in een hele rustige omgeving. Heerlijk stil, je hoort vaak alleen het geluid van overtrekkende ganzen. Je hebt alle ruimte. Het huis is binnen zeker groot genoeg voor 2 personen en je hebt een prachtige tuin tot je beschikking met een fijn plekje aan het water.
De natuur is prachtig, je fietst zo naar het meer en andere mooie gebieden.

All the equipment is brand new. Even non-technical people like us can use it easily. The only time we needed help, it was right there.

Alle apparatuur is compleet nieuw. Niet technische mensen, zoals wij, kunnen er goed mee omgaan. De enige keer dat we hulp nodig hadden was die er direct.

A wonderful experience in this perfect cottage, with a sweeping view of nature.
Jan Willem and Thijs really made us feel at home in this cottage.
We would have loved to extend our stay, but unfortunately others beat us to it.
The cottage is worth every penny.
We’ll definitely be back to this beautiful part of Groningen.

Een heerlijk ervaring in dit perfecte huisje, met ruim uitzicht op de natuur.
Jan Willem en Thijs gaven ons sterk het gevoel in dit huisje thuis te zijn.
We wilden ons verblijf graag verlengen maar helaas anderen waren ons voor.
Het huisje is elke (huur)cent waard.
Wij komen zeker terug in dit mooie deel van Groningen.
