Enjoy a wonderful stay in our cozy cottage on the Maas, uniquely situated on the Maas River in Gelderland. Upon arrival, you can easily park in your own parking space, after which a flight of stairs leads you to the front door. Once inside, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the Brabant countryside. It’s the perfect place to completely unwind. The cottage is decorated in warm colors, made from 90% reclaimed materials, and equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable temperature. The bright living room and kitchen are located on the ground floor. Please note: cooking isn’t possible (though you can easily heat up a small meal)—which isn’t a problem, though, because the immediate area is teeming with great restaurants and cozy eateries! A sturdy ladder leads you up to the first floor, where you’ll find the cozy bedroom. If you’d like to enjoy the outdoors, there’s a picnic table waiting for you in the garden.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located right on the dike, and the garden borders the floodplain. Guests wake up here to the sound of birds singing and enjoy nature in every season—from beautiful fall colors to a calm or, conversely, turbulent river with breathtaking sunrises. There’s even a birdhouse built right into the cottage’s facade, which is already adorably occupied. Beautiful bike rides start right from the dike, leading to historic towns such as Batenburg, Megen, and Ravenstein. An extra treat are the nearby bike ferries, which allow guests to easily cross the Maas River to explore the other side. In addition, there’s a small park within walking distance for a lovely stroll.

A nice, neat, and cozy little house. The owners were friendly, and we had a great time.
