Located 400 km from Utrecht on the edge of the Parc National de Lorraine, 20 km from Verdun, and 40 km from Metz, this comfortable 65-square-meter gîte is set in our 1.2-hectare wooded garden. Central heating, fully equipped kitchen. Shower on the mezzanine and toilet downstairs. Enjoy the peace and space—the stars at night and the birds in our forest during the day (owls, blackcaps, nightingales, kestrels, and much more to discover). Very comfortable 160x210 cm bed with a bamboo fiber comforter and cotton sheets. Private access to your parking spot with the option to charge an electric car or bike. You’ll be staying in the former studio of a well-known photographer and artist.
Nature and surroundings
Lakes such as Lac de Madine and Lachaussee are within 18 km for water sports enthusiasts and/or those interested in birdwatching huts. The area is characterized by the many traces and memorial sites from World War I. The eastern side of the Côtes de Meuse invites you to discover five local wineries where, for many years, wines such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and even delicious sparkling varieties have enticed visitors to taste and take home our lesser-known wines. Vast forests invite you to go for a walk or visit the source of the Longeau, a stream that first flows northward on the western side of the Côtes, then turns southward past our village, making its way toward the Moselle.
