The La Terrazza vacation rental is one of two vacation rentals at Il Poggiarello (A.D. 1659). The vacation home is situated on a small hill near Montaione. From here, the view sweeps across rolling valleys all the way to the distant Apuan Alps. Those seeking the authentic Tuscany will find it at Il Poggiarello: an authentic place full of simplicity, where the chirping of crickets and the warm sunlight invite you to slow down. The vacation apartment (approx. 50 sqm) is accessed through the garden. The living and dining area leads to the other rooms. The bedroom is furnished in the Tuscan Art Nouveau style and features access to a private terrace: here, the day begins in complete tranquility with breakfast under the open sky.

A spacious property with cypress, pine, and olive trees surrounds the historic stone house, which is lovingly maintained. The spacious, unfenced property offers both shady spots and sunny corners for deep relaxation, as well as a breathtaking 360° panoramic view. In the town of Montaione (8 km), there are shopping options, restaurants, and bike and Vespa rentals. Local family-run businesses (e.g., Tenuta di Moriniello, Tenuta di Montefoscoli) invite you to wine and olive oil tastings. The Caseificio Ceccardi cheese dairy in Sughera offers regional specialties. Castelfiorentino (18 km) is ideal for larger shopping trips. There are train connections from the station to Florence, Pisa, and Siena. A hike along a section of the Via Francigena pilgrimage route is a must. The picturesque nature parks Parco fluviale Colle di Valdelsa and Masso degli Specchi, with their natural pools, are perfect for swimming. The owners are happy to provide further tips.
