This vacation rental is suitable and fully furnished for 2 people. The living room/kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and dining room cover a total of 38 m², of which 16 m² is for the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. Appliances include: a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a combination microwave/oven, a Senseo coffee maker, and a kettle. For your convenience, we’ve already provided salt, pepper, oil, and sugar. And for your first day, coffee pods and tea bags are ready and waiting. In the bedroom (8 m²): two made-up single beds, with reading lamps. The cottage is an extension of the main house; it used to be the stables. It has now been sustainably renovated (no less than 50% of the insulation material used comes from sustainably sourced flax and newspaper scraps) and furnished with an eye for the environment, with as little waste as possible, because, apart from the bedding, cutlery, and towels, almost all materials and items in the house are secondhand or recycled.
Nature and surroundings
In the summer, this vacation home is partially hidden among the greenery. The road on which the house is located is a quiet, tree-lined country road between Bellingwolde and Rhederbrug, with a view of the fields across the street. The vacation home has its own driveway from the street and a private entrance. You can park your car at the cottage, and any bicycles you bring can be safely stored in the owner’s shed. Bellingwolde is located in the Westerwolde region, with winding stream valleys and old farmhouses, making it an ideal area for walking and cycling. The LAW Noaberpad is 750 meters from Vonkshoeske. And nearby: the Looster Plassen, where you can enjoy a lovely swim. Our village is home to the most beautiful villa farms in the Netherlands, nestled in 19th-century gardens and lined with majestic street trees. The Bourtange fortress is just 13 km away by bike. To the north lie the impressive Dollard Polders, including the seal-watching platform at the Punt van Reide (the northernmost tip of the Netherlands).
