On the border between the Algarve and the Alentejo, at the top of a vineyard with local grape varieties and overlooking the Odelouca River, stands a handmade mobile home, a wonderful place to unwind in luxury. A fine shower, large bed and the cozy furnishings ensure enjoyment.A typical day might include:Opening the large casement windows, sitting there on the window sill to enjoy a delicious freshly ground cup of coffee.Getting freshly baked bread from the local bakery. A little walk through the idyllic surroundings. A lunch with unsprayed vegetables from our own garden. An afternoon enjoying around our private lake. As you float around on an inflatable bed, nature is all around you. The kingfisher, bee-eaters, and golden oriole are well observed, the turtles are more shy. A wonderful personal massage concludes the afternoon. In the evening you can enjoy frog concerts, the nightingale, and a good book.
Nature and surroundings
The place is ideal for nature lovers, and as a quiet alternative to the bustling coast, the area begs to be discovered. There are natural springs to be found, fantastic views and the small rural life is still very much present. In the neighboring village of Azilheira there is a small store and a cafe. Fresh bread and pastries can be bought from the local baker who comes by every Wednesday and Saturday morning. There is a naturally refreshing private lake with beach, sun beds and inflatable mattresses available. Ask for the availability and price of a wonderful personalized massage.
