Welcome! Enjoy the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings on a 3,000-square-meter, mature, and partially undeveloped property, and make yourself right at home in a lovingly furnished, newly renovated wooden house. The large south-facing balcony offers a magnificent view over the hills of the Vogelsberg. Inside the house, you’ll find three thoughtfully furnished rooms (living room, bedroom, reading/guest room), as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with natural light (approx. 70 sqm total). Whether you’re coming for a weekend or plan to stay longer: Here you can truly be at one with yourself and nature.
Nature and surroundings
Nature lovers will find plenty to explore on the spacious property. In addition to large meadows, there are also wooded areas and two ponds. Many animals thrive here: from birds and newts in the ponds to deer that occasionally stop by. Being close to nature is the guiding principle—here, “weeds” are allowed to grow and insects are free to buzz about! The immediate surroundings also offer plenty of nature experiences: You can start two well-marked hiking trails (the Heinzemann Tour premium hiking trail and the Hainbach Panorama Loop) right from the house. The numerous other hiking and excursion opportunities in the Vogelsberg volcanic region (https://www.vogelsberg-touristik.de) are just a short drive away. The nearest supermarkets in Niederohmen or Romrod are about a 10-minute drive away, and Alsfeld, one of Germany’s most beautiful half-timbered towns with a full range of shopping options and many restaurants, is just 15 km away.
