The Tiny House Tucked away in the mountains of the Algarve, our Tiny House combines modern comfort with a lifestyle close to nature. Large windows bring the landscape into the house and create a peaceful retreat for two people. Outdoor living Life in Montinho takes place both indoors and outdoors. Several terraces, an outdoor kitchen and a separate outdoor bathroom extend the living space into nature. Edible garden Herbs, fruit and seasonal plants grow right next to the house. Depending on the season, guests can explore and enjoy the edible garden. Peace & relaxation Between cork oaks, natural stone walls and open landscapes, various lounge areas and a yoga deck invite you to relax, read or simply pause for a moment.
Nature and surroundings
Nature & Biodiversity Montinho is located on 22 hectares of private land in the mountains of the Algarve. The surrounding area is part of the Natura 2000 network and is one of the most ecologically valuable landscapes in southern Portugal. Cork oak forests are among the most species-rich biotopes in Europe and provide a habitat for numerous bird, reptile and plant species. With a bit of luck, birds of prey, rare wild flowers and endemic species of the Iberian Peninsula can be observed. Historic cultural landscape The landscape has been shaped and cultivated over generations. Old terraces, watercourses, natural stone structures and historic paths still bear witness to this history today. The Montinho restoration project is part of an ongoing restoration project. A small hiking map in the Tiny House invites you to explore the landscape and its history on your own. Experience the Algarve Despite the quiet location, beaches, villages and hiking trails are within easy reach - ideal for exploring the Algarve.
