Lovingly furnished log cabin on approx. 3000 m² of natural land for anyone looking for peace, nature and relaxation. The house has a separate bedroom with a 1.40 m metal bed, real wood parquet flooring in all rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with oven in the open-plan living/dining area and a cozy wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. From there you have direct access to the terrace with seating for up to 6 people and a wood-fired barbecue. There is also a small shower room with WC, a dry composting toilet outside and additional seating. On the open gallery there are further sleeping facilities with 90 cm and 1.40 m mattresses. The large natural swimming pond invites you to swim, use at your own risk, not fenced in. The service water is treated by a filter system. Spiritual spiral on the property. Dogs welcome, property only partially fenced.
Nature and surroundings
The vacation region around Rockenhausen in the beautiful Donnersberg district offers ideal conditions for nature lovers, hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Gentle hills, extensive forests, small villages and sweeping views characterize the landscape of the Northern Palatinate. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity, including routes around the Donnersberg, the highest mountain in the Palatinate. The Palatinate High Trail, natural forest paths and historic castle ruins and viewpoints are also popular. Rockenhausen itself is home to shopping facilities, cafés and regional restaurants. The region is perfect for slowing down, forest bathing, observing nature and for relaxed excursions into the pristine landscape of the Northern Palatinate.
