In this cozy cottage you will find on the ground floor a comfortably furnished living room with wood stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table and an excellent sofa bed. Behind it is a room with the library that also gives access to the bathroom (shower, toilet, washing machine) and the stairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each for two people. There is a wooden crib and a high chair, and we can add a folding bed. This cottage is located in the old part of the manor farm, in front of the main building. This nature house has a walled, lockable garden and a private driveway. You can enjoy the pool, the playground, and perch in the large vegetable garden. Its location gives you complete privacy, but you can hang out more or less with the other guests or hosts at will. There is of course a barbecue and garden furniture at your disposal.
Nature and surroundings
La Grosse Talle is set in a rolling landscape marked by the human scale. From the property you can go straight into nature; you can enjoy walking and cycling, visiting towns and cities. There are endless beautiful Romanesque churches and almost every day a market nearby. Trips to Poitiers and Futuroscope, the Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle / Ile de Ré, Cognac and Niort are certainly among the possibilities and are popular with our guests.
