This mobile home fell far short of our expectations. The photos in the ad turned out to have been edited using generative AI, making the mobile home look much nicer in the photos than it did in reality. The mobile home was poorly maintained, the toilet was broken (apparently, previous guests also didn’t know that it’s only meant for small needs), and there was a lot of trash both around the mobile home and throughout the rest of the campground.
Upon arrival, the campground was deserted (the owner was in the Netherlands and didn’t know we were coming), but he stopped by quickly to clean up. He was very friendly and offered us alternative accommodations because we found the mobile home unacceptable. He also refunded us an agreed-upon portion of the rental fee.
The owner has great plans for the future, and this could become a lovely campground. However, the current listing is misleading and needs to be updated; luring people in with fake photos generated by AI/ChatGPT is really not acceptable.
The area around the campground is serene and peaceful, and it was quiet at the campground as well. However, there’s still a lot of work to be done at the campground itself, including a major cleanup of the grounds, where there’s still a lot of trash and construction materials lying around.

The campground was completely deserted and run-down. The cabin was the same. It hadn't been cleaned, there was trash left behind by the previous guests, and the toilet didn't work.
