Planning a fall getaway? Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is a wonderful place to visit, even during fall break! Room "Dijkzicht" has a bunk bed that can be converted into a double bed, allowing it to sleep three people. It’s a lovely room with a large dormer window, overlooking our garden and the big weeping willow. The room has its own mini-fridge, Senseo coffee maker, and a private table for breakfast. At breakfast, you can enjoy homemade yogurt or freshly baked warm bread. Sometimes there’s even a homemade cake. Of course, you can also enjoy breakfast in the garden during the summer months. When the weather is nice, it’s wonderful to relax as the morning sun rises. Come and enjoy this beautiful spot! The bathroom is simple and intended for shared use only.
Nature and surroundings
Bicycle and hiking trails run past our house and farmland. The surrounding area features beautiful nature reserves and hiking trails, with many creeks along which hiking paths are located. In nearby Axel, there are several museums dedicated to the history of the area. You can visit a water tower, and there are several windmills in the vicinity that are regularly in operation. There are also beautiful biking routes that pass by sea locks and old forts in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The beautiful old fortified town of Hulst is a short distance away. Axel is within walking distance if you enjoy walking. Terneuzen is also nearby. There are lovely little villages and hamlets such as Schapenbout, Spui, and Zaamslag. Just across the border, you can visit the beautiful cities of Ghent, Bruges, and Antwerp; they’re only a half-hour drive away. For children, there’s the Puyenbroeck Provincial Property just across the border. Of course, there’s much more to discover in the area!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €50.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.

- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
