Want to get away from the hustle and bustle? Our Freonehûs/friends’ house is the perfect place for you. It’s a detached double garage where we’ve converted the upper floor into a guest suite. The space is approximately 60 m2 and features a living room/bedroom and a bathroom. On the ground floor, we have a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, among other things. However, cooking isn’t allowed there! - Would you like a good breakfast (raisin bread, sugar bread, juice, an egg) without too much “fuss”? This is €7.50 per person. - Want to join us for dinner (a hot meal) in the evening? This is €20 per person, including drinks. We’ll discuss what we’re having. Please let us know in advance. - Do you have an electric bike and/or car? You can charge them here. Bicycle charging: €0.50 Car (with your own card) The Oranjewoud forests are within walking distance, and the center of Heerenveen is just a 10-minute bike ride away. On nice days, our veranda is a wonderful place to relax. In short, a relaxing stay. You’re very welcome.
Nature and surroundings
Within walking distance of the Oranjewoud forests and a body of water where people swim in the summer. The Belvedère Museum is within walking distance and is definitely worth a visit. It’s also a great place to enjoy lunch. In winter, our Freonenhûs is a great base for a visit to the Thialf ice-skating temple. You can rent a bike at www.2wielercentrumheerenveen.nl The shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
