Diana is filled with treasures collected from all over the world by a family whose roots run deep in the Tongeren estate—antique pieces alongside objects from distant continents, local artifacts passed down through generations that now share the space with curiosities from every corner of the globe. Every shelf and every wall holds something worthy of attention. Every room overlooks the trees. Whether you’re waking up, cooking, or curling up by the fireplace, the forest is always present—framed, vibrant, and changing with the seasons. The glass-enclosed sunroom blurs the line between inside and outside; it’s perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening, as the light filters through the beech trees in shades of gold. When the temperature drops, the fireplace brings everyone together—surrounded by objects that make the evenings feel rich and unhurried. Outside, you light the barbecue as the deer linger at the edge of the forest at dusk.
Nature and surroundings
You arrive via a stately beech-lined avenue, where the treetops arch overhead like a cathedral as the estate unfolds around you. You immediately sense that this is a special place. Diana used to be the home of the gamekeeper—the guardian of the forest at the Tongeren Estate, a centuries-old private estate in Epe, in the heart of the Veluwe. That history gives this house its soul. The forest provides everything else.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
