Diana is filled with treasures collected from around the world by a family whose roots run deep in the Tongeren estate - antique pieces alongside objects from distant continents, local artifacts passed down through generations and now sharing the space with curiosities from all over the world. Every shelf and wall houses something worthy of attention, and every room overlooks the trees. Whether you wake up, stand cooking or snuggle up by the fireplace, the forest is always present - framed, alive and changing with the seasons. The glass conservatory blurs the line between indoors and outdoors; perfect for a full breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening as the light falls golden through the beech trees. When the temperature drops, the fireplace brings everyone together - surrounded by objects that make the evenings feel rich and unhurried. Outside, light the barbecue while the deer drift along the forest edge at dusk.
Nature and surroundings
You arrive through a stately beech avenue, where the crowns close above you like a cathedral as the estate opens up around you. You immediately sense that this is a special place. Diana used to be the home of the gamekeeper - the guardian of the forest on Landgoed Tongeren, an ancient private estate in Epe, in the heart of the Veluwe. That history gives this house its soul. The forest gives it everything else.
