New, spacious and comfortable apartment, attractively and contemporary furnished with a subtle nod to the past. The sloping walls and many windows create a special atmosphere and a beautiful view at any time of day: from sunrise to the sun sinking into the IJsselmeer.The spacious pantry-kitchen has a spacious dining table, microwave/oven, refrigerator, coffee and tea-making facilities and plenty of crockery and cutlery. In the middle of the room is a framed double bed with two cotton single comforters, reading lights and footlights. The sitting area has two comfortable chairs and reading light. The rotating smart TV can be viewed from the sitting area as well as from the bed. In addition, there are plenty of power outlets and storage space for luggage.Apartment is located on first floor. In the yard there are several opportunities to sit comfortably. In short: a unique and comfortable accommodation for a relaxing stay.
Nature and surroundings
Clear vistas, beautiful skies, varied countryside and fresh outdoor air. Experience it in and around our apartment. Rural location between 2 of the 11-Frisian cities Hindeloopen and Workum: an ideal combination of tranquility and bustle -or vice versa-. The apartment is located on a bicycle and walking path (over the old Zuiderzee bottom). You pass a small nature reserve with a view of the former lighthouse ('t Toantsje). Once on the dike you have a wide view of the IJsselmeer and Workummer Strand. Turning right brings you to the harbor of Workum or the center further down the road, with a cozy city terrace at the Waag, plenty of restaurants and bars and the Jopie Huisman Museum, among others. You can also turn left, then meander along the IJsselmeer to Hindeloopen. This cozy little town with its harbor, museums and diverse catering establishments offers many photogenic spots. The Gaasterland woods are not far away either. And neither are the train and bicycle rentals. Be surprised at what else Súdwest-Fryslân has to offer.
