Located in nature reserve the Overasseltse / Hatertse Vennen with beautiful hiking / biking trails! Fully equipped kitchen with 4 burner induction hob, fridge and combi oven / microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. Underfloor heating, spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. With 2 times 1-person electric box spring with 2 pers. topper. Table, closet and luxury armchairs. Free WIFI, 42" LCD TV and welcome tray with coffee capsules, tea, sugar/milk and home-made sweets. No smoking, balcony with seating and unobstructed view. Garden set with parasol, also hammock, fan, toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner available. Exclusive extensive breakfast with local and homemade products and hot tub incl. bathrobes, bath towels and slippers.
Nature and surroundings
In our village you can find a supermarket, butcher, drugstore, restaurant, eatery, Country Store and ATM. Bus stop 1200 m. The Overasseltse and Hatertse Vennen is tangibly a special area with rolling river dunes, many fens and heaths. Every season this nature reserve offers something special. Besides many well-known also special and rare plant and animal species can be found. This is the place for nature experience, rest, relaxation or sporting activities. Junction network with many beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Overasselt is part of the Rijk van Nijmegen where other nature reserves are also worth a visit. Such as the Mookerheide, De Bruuk near Groesbeek, De Ooij near the Waal, St. Jansberg in Plasmolen. But also forests such as De Heerlijkheid and Filosofendal in Berg and Dal Besides nature is from Overasselt the oldest city in NL around the corner with its rich Roman history, Stevenskerk, museums, Valkhofpark, the oldest shopping street in NL, nice restaurants, cafes and stores.
