This nature house is a cozy, bright home. Sunlight streams in from every direction. The kitchen is open, so you can cook while staying in close contact with the rest of your group. It’s a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher. Surrounding the house are three sheltered terraces—facing east, south, and west—so you can always find a spot in the sun. There’s also a cozy sitting area with two sofas and a spacious dining area. A wood stove is also located here. On the upper floor, there are 3 separate bedrooms: a master bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower, and separate bathtub. There is also an additional toilet and a washing machine. The house is pre-wired for solar heating and will be equipped with it shortly. The house is well insulated.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located 5 km from the Bay of the Somme, a beautiful protected nature reserve. The area strongly reminds us of our Wadden Sea: at low tide, it’s an endless expanse. The bay lies at the intersection of two bird migration routes, resulting in a wealth of species. The Parque de Marquenterre bird sanctuary borders the bay and offers beautiful walks.There are also “regular” beaches where you can jump right into the sea or go surfing. Plus, there are chalk cliffs 35 km away, where you can gather your own mussels and serve them at home that evening. Because this part of France (Picardy) is so flat, cycling is very appealing. This is also thanks to the bike paths, which are compatible with the Fietsknoop app. Finally, there are two charming towns on the bay: Le Crotoy, 5 km away, and, on the other side of the bay, Valérie-sur-Somme. Both are well worth a visit. Both towns can get pleasantly busy with tourists. Once back home in Favieres, you’ll find the peaceful tranquility of the French countryside.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €50.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
