A tiny, elegant wooden cabin in the woods for an adventurous couple in love, a father and son, a mother and daughter, etc. A small staircase leads to a loft with a double bed. It’s easily accessible on foot via a narrow path with a few steps here and there. We’ll transport your luggage to the location by tractor and will be happy to “deliver” your dinner. There’s electricity from a solar panel, running water, a gas stove and a wood-burning stove with a woodpile, pots, pans, and bedding. In short, it’s completely self-sufficient. You can, of course, shower and use the restroom, though it’s certainly not as comfortable as at home. There’s no Wi-Fi—a place to truly unplug. Snow makes for an exciting winter; spring and fall are beautiful here; and summer is, of course, “Italian”-style hot, though the forest offers some cool relief. It’s never completely silent. Crickets and woodpeckers are always around; at night, owls and dormice, with the occasional mosquito. Most other animals are there too, but they’re usually shy.
Nature and surroundings
In the “front yard” of our farm, nestled in the woods of the hilly Langhe region—a region famous for its wine, mushrooms, and truffles. The Ligurian coast is 40 km away. Nearby is Ceva, a historic town with a train station and supermarkets. But maybe you won’t even want to leave the woods. Just to read a book or write for a while. You can go for a walk nearby or in the Alps. You’re welcome to help us in the vineyard or taste our wine. On Sundays, we bake pizzas in the old oven. Enjoy an ice cream at Bono in Ceva or dine at one of the wonderful little restaurants in the area. We’d also be happy to bake some bread for you, and on Sundays, you can have an egg from our chickens. If you’d like, we can provide information about the many beautiful wineries in the area. Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
