Camp in an old retro motorhome in an idyllic spacious spot in the back of a motorhome park with unobstructed views of the countryside and estate. You stay in a camper with a spacious seat. In the evening you convert the seat into a bed of 1.50 m by 2.00 m. In the alcove one person can sleep (extra). There is a toilet in the camper for the night. At the camper park there is a bathroom with showers and toilets that can be used. Near the camper is a small space to cook (electric) on a two burner. There is a jerrycan with water ready. There is a pallet bench with low table to enjoy the beautiful sunset near the camper and a high seat to have breakfast outside when the weather is nice. You can park your car close to the camper. On the farm, we keep a small herd of young cows that run outside for much of the year and whose meat we sell at home. There is an official rest stop where you can buy something soft or an ice cream. There is also information on hand.
Nature and surroundings
There is plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling right from the park. Walking (possibly with the dog) so Estate Ampsen through the meadow. We are on a junction route and you can go either way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lochem also has a mountain bike route. The Lochemseberg is not very high, but beautiful to walk there. Lochem is 2.5 km from the campsite. It is an (almost 800) year old town with many nice restaurants and terraces. A theater, open air theater and within cycling distance beautiful museums. We are less than 2 km from the train station. So a visit to Zutphen is easy to do.We are in an area with many estates and castles. Some can be visited, but just nice to be around.
