Perched on a hill on the outskirts of the village of Prümzurlay in the Südeifel Nature Park, our vacation home for 6 people offers a stunning view of the countryside and hop fields. From the living room, you step directly onto the wide balcony, furnished with garden chairs and tables so you can enjoy nature even more. In addition to the living room with its open kitchen and spacious dining table, this floor also features a guest restroom and a utility room with a washer, dryer, and closet. On the upper floor, there is a spacious bathroom, two bedrooms, and a home office. The largest of the bedrooms and the home office open onto a second balcony, which also offers a beautiful view. On the lower level (the house is situated on a slope), there is a third bedroom, a home office, and a private bathroom. The utility room, which houses the heat pump and meter cabinet, is also located here. From this level, you can step right out onto the terrace. The garden is bee- and butterfly-friendly and features a trampoline (Apr–Oct).
Nature and surroundings
Experience nature: hiking and biking trails start just about 20 meters from the house. The Südeifel Nature Park, one of Germany’s oldest nature parks, offers a blend of tranquility, open spaces, and varied landscapes. It’s also a perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful regions in the area: 1) Felsenland: Around Prümzurlay, Irrel, and Bollendorf, you’ll find vast forests and spectacular rock formations. Explore trails such as the Teufelsschlucht, the suspension bridge over the Prüm River toward Irrel, and the Grüne Hölle. 2) Bitburg Region: To the northeast lies Bitburg, with a shopping center, beautiful bike routes, and the famous brewery. For families, Eifelpark Gondorf is highly recommended. 3) Trier & the Moselle: Just a short distance away is Trier, Germany’s oldest city, steeped in Roman history. Combine culture with relaxation in the surrounding Moselle region, full of vineyards. Tip: the Moselradweg. 4) Luxembourg & Müllerthal: Echternach (L), a 15-minute drive away, is the starting point of the E1 trail. In short: an ideal base!
