The Domaine du Cournou consists of an old farmhouse and its appurtenances, vacation homes and a covered manege.The farmhouse used to be part of a set of farms that housed cows and has a rectangular ground plan. The old barn in the middle was built with the stones from the medieval castle of Cause de Clérans. The wooden roof structure with the Saint Adreus Cross is real craftsmanship of ancient times. The southern part has been restored and the northern part is under renovation. Opposite the farm is the porcherie (pigsty), also partially renovated. Some distance from the farm are the gîtes (vacation homes). These are fairly recent and all have a living area with kitchenette, a bathroom, a toilet and one or more bedrooms. All gîtes have a private garden, both at the front (with terrace and barbecue) and at the back (fully fenced). Pets are allowed provided they are clean.
Nature and surroundings
The property is located in the middle of woods and meadows at 1 km from the village Cause de Clerans In our woods there are about 10 km of hiking trails. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions: Castles and beautiful small villages. This can be done by car but also by bicycle (preferably electric because of the hilly landscape). On the site you can practice archery, cubbing, swimming, walking or just enjoying and doing nothing On the campsite there is also a fire pit for possible campfire. All pitches have electricity (6 Amp) and common sanitary facilities and dishwashing facilities.
