A mini-glamping site tucked away in the green heart of France on a 1.5-hectare property. All of our fully furnished tents accommodate 4 people. Our tents are furnished as bedrooms with real beds (no air mattresses). The tents are strategically placed to ensure maximum privacy. Since we also offer meals (25€ per person) and breakfast, (€10 per person), cooking facilities are provided at the tent for €50 per stay. A lounge area, table, and chairs are available at the tent. The restroom facilities are currently located in an adjacent barn a short distance away. The swimming pool (5 m x 10 m / 1.25 m deep) is located behind the barn near No. 10 and is open from May through October. There is an honesty bar next to the pool.
Nature and surroundings
The mini-campground is located in a small hamlet called “Cros,” which is part of the village of “Dompierre-les-Eglises.” Cros consists of about twenty houses where time seems to have stood still. It is a picturesque little hamlet nestled amid vast, rolling countryside, forests, and lakes. The Haute-Vienne is, in fact, a very green region with many rural villages. It’s also a peaceful area where tourism hasn’t yet fully taken hold, and where you can fully enjoy the tranquility and the stunning natural beauty. The Haute-Vienne is one of the three departments of the Limousin region, located next to Creuse and Corrèze. Cros lies at the center of three large nature parks. To the south are the Périgord-Limousin and Millevache-Limousin regional nature parks. To the north, Cros borders the Brenne Regional Nature Park. The area is known as the green heart of France! There is still plenty of space and tranquility here—you can even find complete silence.
