Welcome to our charming off-grid chalet, tucked away among the forests and sand dunes of the Keiheuvel. On a private 5,000 m² property, you can enjoy peace and quiet, plenty of space, and a stunning view of the open dune landscape. The 70 m² chalet is perfect for families, couples, and nature lovers who consciously choose simplicity and a connection with nature. It features three bedrooms, a cozy living area with a wood stove, a compact bathroom with hot water, and a simple kitchen with a gas stove. Electricity is generated by solar panels and water is drawn up by a pump, allowing you to reconnect with the rhythm of nature. Outside, the bocce court, the trees, and the silence invite you to relax. Enjoy a book by the stove, a cup of coffee on the terrace, or a beautiful sunset over the dunes from a rocking chair. Here, it’s all about slowing down, unwinding, and reconnecting with what really matters.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet is located in the heart of the Keiheuvel - De Most nature reserve, a unique landscape in the heart of the Kempen sand region. From the cottage, you can walk or bike straight into nature, past vast pine forests, heathlands, and open sand dunes. The area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers, and nature lovers. With a little luck, you might spot roe deer, squirrels, woodpeckers, or birds of prey. Nature reserves such as De Vennen, Kattenbos, Pijnven, and the Grote Netewoud are just a short distance away. The famous “Fietsen door de Bomen” cycling route is also located in the region. The Keiheuvel is known for its stunning views and impressive sunsets over the dune plain. On weekdays, it sometimes feels as if you have nature all to yourself. Here, there’s no hustle and bustle or traffic—just silence, open space, and the beauty of a landscape that surprises you anew every season.
