This cozy studio is part of "La Bastide Portoly" and located in the former plum drying room. The studio has a comfortable double bed (1,80x2,00), bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and in the living area, a cozy sitting and dining area. Furthermore, the studio has a sink with a sink, coffee and tea making facilities and a kettle. The terrace is located at the back of the building and offers a lot of privacy. It overlooks the orchard, meadow and the edge of the forest. If you want a view of the basilica, or want to sit among the fruit trees, just move the garden set. We serve a full breakfast with fresh regional products and delicious specialty coffees. Breakfast is served in the former library of the main building. In nice weather with the patio doors open or on the terrace. La Bastide Portoly has a swimming pool (6 x 12) where you can take a refreshing dip.
Nature and surroundings
La Bastide Portoly is originally a traditional farmhouse. Over 250 years old and brimming with history. Amazing to realize how many generations have written their history in this house.... This stone country house is situated on a hill with stunning views of the picturesque medieval town of Penne d'Agenais with its silver dome of the basilica. On the property surrounding the house are beautiful ancient (cedar) trees. The estate of 5.5 hectares consists partly of forest. You can walk straight from the garden into the forest for a lovely walk. A significant part of the estate consists of meadows where a diversity of wild plants and rare orchids grow. Cozy corners can be found everywhere where you can enjoy nature. Due to its unique location, a beautiful wide view of the rolling hills is guaranteed. Finally, an atmosphere of restful serenity!
