Welcome to this cozy wooden cottage. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy everything that’s growing and blooming in the garden or the surrounding area. It is not suitable for small children. The cottage is heated with electric radiators, air conditioning, and a wood stove (wood provided). There are 2 bedrooms; one is on the ground floor with a double bed, and the other is on the loft, which has two single beds. This space is open to the living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. A dishwasher and kitchen linens are provided. The stove runs on gas (gas cylinder). There is no microwave and no freezer. Recycling is encouraged. The luxurious bathroom has a 150-liter water heater. Bath linens are provided. Dogs are not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located at the back of the property. From the parking spot, you walk through the backyard and across the garden to the cottage. You’ll pass the pigs, chickens, and goats that live here, and with a little luck, Sammie the cat will come out to say hello. The cottage has its own private, fenced-in garden, complete with a seating area, picnic bench, hammock, and more. The interior is also laid out to provide plenty of privacy. You can walk to the Hatertse Vennen via a dirt road. It’s a beautiful nature reserve! Other nature reserves around Nijmegen are also easily accessible, such as the forests around the Sint Jansberg and the Mookerheide.
