Our nature house is also situated in a beautiful location, close to the Roegwold, the Schildmeer, and historic Appingedam. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy endless walking, cycling, and the nature and tranquility of the Groningen countryside. For a cozy lunch or a lovely walk, the Fraeylemaborg is highly recommended. You can also enjoy a delicious dinner by the water at the Schildmeer while taking in the view. In addition, the city of Groningen is easily accessible, and you can reach the bustling city center in about 20 to 25 minutes by car. This makes it easy to combine peace, nature, and socializing during your stay.

Our vacation home is located in the peaceful countryside of Groningen. The area is characterized by meadows, winding country roads, and sweeping views that offer their own unique charm in every season. Here, you can enjoy the quiet, fresh air, and the true outdoor life. In the immediate vicinity, you can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides past fields, farms, and through nature reserves. Birdwatchers will be in their element here, and with a little luck, you might spot roe deer roaming the meadows behind the property. The region exudes peace and space, making it ideal for unwinding completely and enjoying nature. In addition, charming villages and historic sites are just a short drive away.
