This new, detached nature house is in a unique location: just 100 meters from the sea on the Oosterschelde National Park. In the complete lee of Zeeland tourism. Here you will enjoy peace, nature and privacy. From July 2026 the cottage is for rent.The modern and freshly decorated 2-person cottage is fully equipped. There is a bathroom with shower and bath, and both downstairs and upstairs a toilet with sink. The spacious upstairs has solar-powered Velux blackout blinds. It is comfortable for any season, with air conditioning in the summer and heating plus wood stove in the winter. A washing machine and Netflix are also provided.Outside you will find a large garden with sun and shade spots, sunbeds and garden furniture.The cottage is completely gas-free and only one cottage is rented, which ensures optimal peace and privacy.We are in the process of installing an electric charging station for cars. Bicycles can be charged with extension cord at the cottage.
Nature and surroundings
Located on the Oosterschelde National Park is this cozy cottage - an ideal place for peace seekers and nature lovers. The area is a true bird paradise; a short distance away you will find a bird hide and in the cottage you will find binoculars waiting for you. For extra experience, you can use the Merlin Bird ID app to recognize bird sounds. Just 100 meters walk away, you reach the dike. From there you can enjoy a magnificent view: on the left you can see the Neeltje Jans and on the right, across the water, the attractive Zierikzee. Both inside and outside the dike are beautiful hiking and biking trails, and in the area you will find several small beaches. You can collect oysters at low tide.For groceries there is a neighborhood supermarket within 2 km and in the village is a cozy restaurant / cafe that is open daily.Cities such as Goes (19 km), Middelburg (22 km) and Zierikzee (21 km) are nearby. Veere is within easy reach with the bicycle ferry from Kamperland (May tm September).
