The property is home to donkeys, horses, chickens, sheep, and dogs, and it has an apple orchard with old standard-tree varieties, beehives, and a fruit garden. Tucked away in the greenery are two mobile homes: “Swiebertje,” fully furnished with an Old Dutch interior, and “Windsor,” decorated entirely in the English style. The setting is extremely charming and peaceful, offering optimal privacy. Particularly suitable for couples. The accommodation includes a cozy wooden porch with a large dining table, a nice shower, a toilet, a microwave, a refrigerator, a two-burner stovetop, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, kitchen linens, tableware, etc. Free use of bicycles, comfortable lounge chairs, a barbecue, and firewood. Both mobile homes have an outdoor dining table with chairs and a large umbrella. In short: an oasis for anyone who loves the outdoors, the beach, the sea, and animals.

Rabbits, hares, hedgehogs, and roe deer roam the grounds surrounding the mobile home. It’s an ideal setting for birdwatching—more than 50 different species have been spotted in the garden! Last year, a hoopoe was even sighted! A private birdwatching excursion in one of the many suitable areas in the immediate vicinity, led by an experienced IVN guide, is among the options, and there is a walk through the woods and dunes with our friendly donkeys. Or watch the beekeeper at work! Plenty of bike paths; Walcheren boasts an extensive cycling network. Picturesque little villages where time seems to stand still can be visited by bike from our location. Traditional folk games such as ring riding and sjezen riding in traditional farm attire take place everywhere here during the summer. Visit the charming historic fortified town of Veere, take to the water on an old Hoogaars boat, rent a sailboat on Lake Veere, or book a seal-watching excursion!
