We are a Belgian family who moved to the beautiful south of Cantal in the summer of 2023. We were looking for tranquility, wide views and lots of nature, something we want to share with you! We converted an old "secadou" into a charming Tiny house. Perfect for a romantic getaway! The Tiny house has a small sitting area with wood stove, a kitchenette with dining table and bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with two electric hobs, a sink and refrigerator. There is also a kettle, toaster, blender and coffee machine. The sleeping area is located upstairs, accessible via a steep staircase with banister. Bed linen is included in the rent, as well as kitchen towels. Bath towels must be provided by the guests themselves. A wood-fired hot tub is available on site. It can be rented for 25 euros per evening. We provide clean water and wood.
Nature and surroundings
Our property is located on top of a hill. We also have about 20 hectares of forest near our house (just across the neighbor's meadow) which is accessible but still very pristine. We like to walk and explore it with our dog. We have an animal run with two mini pigs and a lot of chickens. Our property is surrounded by the pastures of our neighbor, who has cows on his property. In the summer we can enjoy the little calves passing by. In the vicinity are many walks and cycling or mountain biking routes. In the summer, you can cool down in the Lot river, 20 minutes away. Supermarkets and bakeries are 20 minutes away.
